Your child, however, is entitled to the same amount of checked luggage as an adult traveling in the same cabin class if you have purchased a seat for them.

☞ How should I react if my luggage is late or gone?

You must notify AIR FRANCE KLM Baggage Service at the airport right once if your luggage is lost, delayed, or misplaced. After completing a Property Irregularity Report (PIR), you will receive a file number that will allow you to track down your bag(s) or make a claim.
Air France must be notified online (or via the mobile app) no later than 48 hours after arrival if you've left the airport. By contacting the baggage service office at the number shown in your report or using the online baggage search tool, you can find out the status of your misplaced luggage.

☞ How do I apply for a claim of reimbursement?

You must file a compensation request by completing an online declaration form within 21 days of receiving your bag if your bag was delayed and you had to spend money on clothing and toiletries. Keep the original receipts because you will need to present them as proof of your expenses.
