24 Hours Cancellation Policy

Interjet Airlines has a 24-hour cancellation policy under which the airline allows you to cancel your flight within 24 hours of booking it for free as long as the flight was booked 7 days before its departure date. This policy applies to flights originating to/from the U.S.A. This policy applies to all fare types regardless of the fact whether they are refundable or non-refundable as long as all the above-mentioned conditions are satisfied. 

Cancellation Policy Due To Death Or Illness 

If you couldn’t board your flight due to a sudden illness or death in your family, the airline will allow you to cancel your flight for free without charging you any sort of cancellation fee. However, the airline requires you to submit proof of illness or death.

Cancellation Policy Due To Weather

If your Interjet airline flight was canceled due to reasons outside of the airline’s control, the airline will inform you as soon as possible and try to put you on a different flight, if the airline couldn’t arrange a flight for you at that time, the airline will provide you with accommodation and food option. Also, if your flight was canceled and it doesn’t serve your purpose anymore, then you can ask the airline for a full refund.

No-Show Cancellation Policy

If the passenger didn’t show up for the flight and forgot to cancel their flight, the whole amount of the ticket will be forfeited and the airline won’t provide you with any refund.

  • Select your booking and click on the cancel button.
  • Your flight has been cancelled.

Interjet Airline Refund Policy

Interjet airline provides refunds to its passengers only if they cancel the flight within the first 24 hours of booking it and the booking date of that flight was 7 days before its departure. In all the other situations the airline won’t provide you with a refund until and unless you have taken the Work Bundle while booking the ticket. Here we have listed the situations in which you are eligible or non-eligible to get a refund.

Eligibility For Refund

  • If you booked your flight less than 24 hours ago and my travel is more than 7 days (168 hours) from my purchase time.
  • If you have traveled the Interjet Airlines Work Bundle.
  • If you are on military orders and cannot fly.
  • If a ticketed customer has died.
  • If your flight was canceled by the airline and you decided not to travel on an alternative Interjet flight.
  • You missed a connecting Interjet flight due to a delayed or canceled Interjet flight.
  • Your flight was rescheduled by the airline and changed by 3 or more hours.
  • Your flight’s departure was delayed by more than 3 hours and you decided not to travel. 

Non-Eligibility For Refund

  •  If you already traveled on the flight.
  •  If you missed your flight due to the airline’s fault.
  • Your flight was rescheduled by Interjet and changed by less than 3 hours
  • Your flight’s departure was delayed by less than 3 hours.
  • You didn’t use a product that you bought while booking the ticket, for example, a bag, bundle, seat, or paid membership
  • If someone in your  immediate family has an illness or medical issue (please contact your travel insurance)
  •  If someone in your immediate family member has died.
  • If you are on jury duty or have a subpoena.
  • If you booked your flight less than 24 hours ago and your travel is within the next 7 days.
