Personal Things

Along with the aforementioned free cabin luggage allowance, every client can carry some of the following personal items without extra fees:

  • A handbag, pocketbook, or handbag that's suitable for regular travel apparel and isn't used as a container for other things that might be considered bags.
  • A laptop
  • A little camera or set of binoculars
  • A totally collapsible wheelchair (please notice that this will probably be loaded from the grip at the death gate)
  • A set of crutches and/or dentures or other prosthetic apparatus provided that the client.


Smart Bags

Carriage of Smart Bags powered by a lithium-ion battery or lithium-ion battery power bank Is Only Going to be approved in accordance with the following requirements:


Checked Baggage: Smart totes are allowed as checked baggage provided that the battery is removed and transported in the cottage; when the battery cannot be eliminated, the wise tote might not be carried as checked luggage.


Cabin Baggage: Smart bags are permitted in the cottage (size and weight permitting), provided that the battery is removable. The battery doesn't need to be eliminated in-flight so long as the wise tote is totally powered off. If the battery isn't removable, the wise tote can't be transported on Gulf Air.

Carry-On Baggage

Gulf Air passengers are permitted to bring on-board the aircraft one piece of cabin baggage, plus one personal item, such as a briefcase, camera bag or small backpack. Your carry-on baggage should fit into the Gulf Air overhead bins or under the seat in front of you.

Carry-on baggage cannot exceed 114 centimetres in combined width, length and height; this includes any wheels and handles– with the exception of some of the musical instruments that fit in the Gulf Air overhead compartment space or under-seat space available at the time of boarding.

Gulf Air permit a wide range of sporting equipment and special baggage on Gulf Air flights. Due to the size of baggage, some of the items may be counted as a standard checked bags.
