• Where the airline informed you about the flight cancellation two weeks before the flight's departure.
• The airline informed you about the flight cancellation between 2 weeks and seven days before the flight's departure. It offered the option of getting onto a different flight onto which the departure of your flight will be no more than 2 hours before the original flight's departure and reaching your flight less than 4 hours after the scheduled time of the original flight's arrival.  
• The airline informed you about the flight cancellation less than seven days before the flight's departure. It was offered the option of getting onto a different flight onto which the departure of your flight will be no more than 1 hour before the original flight's departure and reach your flight less than 2 hours after the scheduled time of the original flight's arrival.
• The airline can show if it took all the necessary caution, and still, the airline couldn't avoid the delay or cancellation of the flight.
• Except for all the cases mentioned above, the airline will provide you with compensation based on the distance:

• The airline can reduce the compensation amount by 50% if the airline provides the passenger with a different flight. In case of a distance of 3500 km or less, the delay in the arrival time of the flight is less than 3 hours, or in case of a distance of 3500 km or more, the delay in the arrival time of the flight is less than 4 hours.

• If you have bought the Choice fare, the amount of your ticket is refundable, but the airline will charge a cancellation fee before refunding the amount.
• If you have bought the Choice plus fare, the amount of your ticket is fully refundable.
• If you have bought an economy ticket on Guest Seat, the amount of your ticket is refundable, but the airline will charge a cancellation fee before refunding the amount.

Refund policy on Business Class Ticket

• If you have bought a ticket on Value fare, the amount of your ticket is refundable, but the airline will charge a cancellation fee before refunding the amount.
• If you have bought a ticket on Choice fare, the amount of your ticket is refundable, but the airline will charge a cancellation fee before refunding the amount.
• If you have bought a ticket on Choice plus fare, the amount of your ticket is fully refundable.
• If you have bought a ticket in the Guest seat, the amount of your ticket is refundable, but the airline will charge a cancellation fee before refunding the amount.

• If you have bought a first-class ticket on the first fare, the amount of your ticket is fully refundable.
• If you have bought a first-class ticket on Guest seat fare, the amount of your ticket is refundable, but the airline will charge a cancellation fee before refunding the amount.

The airline provides refunds based on the class you have chosen to travel from. Also, on Etihad Airways, you can book your flights at different fares depending on the amount you want to spend and what amenities you want to have while traveling.
